Community

The Community Outreach facet of the Arts-in-Medicine program includes the local, regional, and international levels. Locally we are able to help fund periodic services to UNM’s SW Mesa Clinic, and to the Raymond G. Murphy VA Medical Center. Regionally we are able to help fund services and growth to seedling arts programs at the Zuni Hospital on the Zuni Pueblo, at the Rehoboth McKinley Christian Health Center Services (RMCHCS) in Gallup, and at the San Juan Regional Hospital in Farmington. Internationally we are able to work in rural, multi-cultural clinics, hospitals, hospices, and community centers in Cape Town, South Africa, and in collaboration with The University of Cape Town.
